They decided it was okay to lie
In a new book, former president Gerald Ford says that Bill Clinton's refusal to admit he lied about having sex was 'a character flaw.'
But, what the observation misses is that Clinton's problem was infinitely worse than a flaw. Indeed, if you recall, the crazy Clinton followers were told to say that, in Clinton's case, TELLING LIES WASN'T WRONG because 'everyone lies about sex.'
So not only did Clinton refuse to tell the truth (a character flaw), he actually promoted falsehood as a way of doing business (a bankrupt soul.)
