Wheat harvest

We always watch the local dairy farmer's crops with interest. He usually plants corn and indeed he has a handsome crop in most of his fields this year. Enormous stalks brimming with corn. But on the field across from my house, he planted an early wheat crop (or was that some sort of hay?) He harvested yesterday, sending a dozen trucks and reapers into the half-mile square field and made short work of it.

Reapers? You mean 'rapers', don't you? As in . . . rapers of mother earth!!

We should do the earth a favor and kill ourselves. Actually, I believe that idea is under consideration for the new Democrat party platform.
