Oh no! Did it give you a seriously bad headache? I had it once years ago. I probably should have went to the hospital but didn't. I hope you or whoever in your family has it gets better quickly and without any lasting complications. Amen!

The headache was the least of my problems, Junebug! But anyway, I'm recovering. Slowly...

Sorry to hear about the food poisoning. Hate that stuff.

In other news, have you seen this:

Love this guy. Black conservatives always have the best anti-liberal rants.

In other other news, I'm also trying my hand at a pop-cultury, google-trends based blogs. So, lots of half-naked chicks. Missing persons. Sports people. That's what the people search for. A little politics thrown in, too, for good measure.

Kinda PG-13 rated, just so ya know.

No Google ads because it's impossible! If you have a wordpress.com blog, you benefit mightily from getting thrown into Wordpress's tag system--people can click on tags and see other posts that match those tags and search on those tags, and it can be very benficial to getting hits and getting in Google's search results. The bad side: Wordpress.com does not allow you to advertise. Which, frankly, I did not know when I started it. I'm thinking of duplicating it in some form or fashion on blogger/blogspot, which does allow for AdSense.

You can easily throw AdSense ads into a Wordpress blog if you host it yourself, using the Wordpress software. But if you're getting the blog on Wordpress.com, no such luck. If I can get my PageRank up, I'm thinking of signing up with one of the Blogvertising websites, where they pay you a small amount for posting links within the body of your article. But first, I'd have to build up the traffic/PageRank.

Most popular post on the entire thing? Burning Down the House, which is just two videos of how the Democrats are responsible for the entire Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac debacle.
