Just playing catch-up on your posts.
We don't have mockingbirds in Oregon nor redwing blackbirds which I love when they all roost together and make that squeaky gate noise.
No mockingbirds? No redwings? that sucks! But, on the other hand, you live in Oregon which, except for the plethora of liberals, is very cool.
Last year, I heard a mockingbird sing for at least 10 minutes straight and I counted 20 different songs.
My canary is a mockingbird. He does the cellphone so well, it fools me everytime. There aren't many liberals in my part of Oregon, which is why I picked it. They're all in the big cities.
