The libs don't like it because it's going to cost them more to get their porn through the mail. Poor babies!
I think the Post Office should pass this rate hike, but make it the same right across the board. Equality. Stick it to Time-Warner too.
Interesting how (a) liberal corporations, like Time-Warner, like special consideration for powerful corporate interests when they are the powerful corporate interest and (b) how liberals can see how punitive and disincentivizing high taxation is when it's applying to them. But raising taxes on small businesses, family farms, mid-size companies, successful entreprenuers: that's awesome! It just means more money for roads and government healthcare! If higher expenses are going to make it more difficult or impossible for The Nation to do business, what do they think higher taxes to do individual entreprenuers, small businesses, individuals trying to save and raise the capital to start a business, etc? Now, the government needs to slap publications like The Nation with irrational environmental regulations that are time-consuming and expensive to comply with, and they'll get the full liberal experience 80% of the corporate world has to deal with.
