What do you think about that Joe Lieberman speech for John McCain? I walked by the tv and heard and saw him speaking and I thought WTH? (Hay) and so I stopped and listened. Kinda powerful. Probably won't do his Democratic career any good.
I agree, Junebug, I was very impressed by it and enjoyed it.
Good speech by Thompson. Joe Leiberman has nothing to worry about. The Dems ran an ultra-liberal against him in the primary, and the ultra-lib took it, so he ran as an independent . . . and won, in a three-way race.
They may try to keep him on the outs in a Democratic run congress and administration, but if McCain takes it, he may well get a cabinet post. If not, in a Republican run senate, he wouldn't be forgotten.
