Fire.

We had a fire yesterday. Half the house is gone. Other half, we don't know yet. Dogs got out. We got out. Got the computers (natch!)

Terribly sorry.

Glad the computers are safe. Maybe it's overly-masculine and hideously insensitive to point out something like that, but if I were in your position it'd be among the first five thoughts going through my head. Again, sorry about all the other stuff, though, and your general situation. Hope it's brief.

Thanks MK! The computers were pretty important. These days they have all the music, photos, projects and work. I asked them to save the computers and then my purse. Now that's saying something.

Terrible to hear. So sorry for you. Hope some good comes out of it in the end. Wish it was economical to build houses out of nothing but steel and brick. Hate to think what would happen to my tinderbox, should the wrong thing blaze up. I'm pretty sure it'd be done with in about five minutes.

My prayers are with you. All the best, in this mess.

Glad you and hubby are safe. First things first and all that.
