Can you be a leftist and a scientist?

I grew up a conservative.
My dad talked about one guy who was such a "conservative" that he employed a "grease rock." (for those who don't know what I mean, he didn't buy toilet paper.)

Now that won't stop global warming. But, it will sure burn hot where the sun don't shine. Especially if you have hemorroids.

What does that have to do with all those screamin meanies and the whole global warming science? When I hear them screeching in such pain... I think that they must be like that old friend of my dads..... a few misplaced rocks and sore sitters.

Well, that was certainly entertaining!
At least they kept it relatively civil. But all the usual ploys were used.
They just kept missing the gist.
Yes, how can one be absolutely scientific when your heart n mind has allegience to an ideology?
Dr. Menegle comes readily to mind as a frightening example.
Even Einstein is now being dismissed as a doddering old fool who couldn't adjust to the times by the "progressive" eggheads. He freely admitted to a Higher Power.
So there ya go...
