Coopers Hawk
Our neighorhood Coopers Hawk. Never have been able to get his face until now. This is taken through a window with a flash, unfortunately. If you click on it and look at it larger, you'll see how much detail of the face is in that photo.

pretty nice for being through the window ... usually the flash really mucks it up
What a great picture. One of the fun things living here in the country is watching the birds. It's been below freezing the last few mornings and our back porch bird feeders have been a constant cafeteria line.
