Just curious: Do you think Obama was born in Kenya or Hawaii?

It doesn't matter now. No, it doesn't. He's president. As my illustrious husband says there would be a civil war were he to be removed on a technicality now.

But, just curious. Don't you think , if there were in fact a valid Hawaiian birth certificate, it would have long ago been produced?

Now, I imagine if anyone ever got close to producing evidence that he was born in Kenya, we would see a birth certificate produced, but I rather doubt it would be legit.

So, it's just a exercise in trivia: Do you think he was born in Hawaii?

I think you would have to be fairly naive to think so.

Interesting fact you mention.

I am simply amazed. Did not know about it.

Would wait for the answer from someone else. :)

Maybe Melmac. YOu know.. the place where A.F.F was from? heh heh.

(I saw a few weeks ago that the State of Hawaii had verified his birth certificate was valid.)

You know what bugs me about this? Why would he refuse to release his birth certificate unless it has something controversial on it? Isn't our right to know, beyond all doubt, that there is no question as to his citizenship?

If his mother is an American citizen, the so is he, even if he was born on Mars. So, what's the secret?

He was probably born in Kenya. But it is a technicality. But he is as easily as American as David Axelrod, who will be co-president. He's as American as an Al Franken and so far, more deserving of the title "American" than Dick Durbin and John Murtha, both of whom should have their citizenship revoked.

Not my biggest worry. But HE did release his Birth Certificat, Cielo . . . problem was, it's almost certainly a fake. It looks exactly like the Hawaii 2007 birth certificates, and Obama was born 47 years ago, right? Hawaii hasn't changed the production process for it's birth certificates in 47 years?

But, it's incidental. Like trying to disqualify Bush and Cheney because they both had residences in Texas. I've got a problem with some of his ideas--but frankly, as time goes on, I've got less problem with Obama as president that his supporters, many of who are willfully blind and some of whom are just insane. I don't really care where they were born either. But they're loony birds! Or potential crypto-fascists, to borrow a term from the left.
