Crabapple and buzzards

So pretty!

The woods are just getting leafed out. We're seeing relatively large groups of buzzards surveying the area for carrion. Last weekend, we saw seven buzzards circling at the same time but they apparently found nothing and moved on. We've also seen the local finches have arrived for the summer, along with the House Wrens, who have taken over the nesting boxes.
