Happy Patriots Victory Day!

In the United States, nothing special at all happens on May 5.

In Ethiopia, May 5 is Patriots Victory Day, marking the liberation of Addis Ababa by British forces.

Please join me May 5 in honoring the British, making the world safer for Democracies for centuries!

You must not have Cinco de Mayo in your part of the US.

No one in the U.S. has Cinco de Mayo. That is a Mexican national holiday. Americans don't celebrate it.

We do in Texas!!! There are festivals and elementary schools decorate for it.
Don't get me wrong, it's no Christmas, but it's definately recognized.

We have a large legal Hispanic population, and they have friends, and Cinco de Mayo should be celebrated, and it is.

Of course, I also think Bon Voyage day should be celebrated as we wave good-bye to the large illegal immigrant population. And Patriots Victory Day sound absolutely rockin'.

Maybe we should all put together a care package to send down to the Minutemen in Nevada.
