Unexpected snow (11 seconds)

Here are Banjo, Dobro, and Fiddle romping in the snow. It was really beautiful, but pretty unexpected. Weather forecasters have been predicting snow for weeks, but it has never materialized on cue. Today, no mention of snow and we have maybe 4 inches of very fluffy stuff on the ground.


Above, Maggie rests in the woods. She hasn't been feeling very well lately. Maybe it is arthritis.

What I've always suspected. The staff of the New York Times, and New York liberals in general, get all their information about the rest of America from television game shows.

Speaking of stupid. And I'm not talking about the TV show contestants.

One Minute with The Fabulous Tommy Castro

We never miss TC when he's in the neighborhood. This is Tommy Castro Feb 2 at the Key Palace in Red Key Indiana, turning the place on. Check out his expressions as he makes his geetar talk.

TC brought his 'legendary blues revue' with him. Our favorites were the wonderful Deanna Bogart, the chick in the band, on the piano, and Ronny Baker Brooks.

Unfortunately, we didn't get to see enough of Tommy Castro hisownself. We love his sax player and we love the whole show. Here's a shot of the Big TC we got as he was walking through the Palace. Blinded the poor guy with my flash. We love ya Tommy!

NEXT is a short snippet of Ronny Baker Brooks, who was equally fabulous. The crowd was absolutely talking to him, repeating all the lyrics to his songs and, as he pointed out, Ronny hisownself was not half as drunk as the crowd. Also note the bass player who fascinates me because he looks like a hip Frankenstein with rhythm.
